Clemson’s recruitment of Oklahoma guard Josh Adams was reported by 247Sports on Friday, which led to the publication of a tweet from a Clemson official confirming the recruit’s arrival to the program.
Adams, a 6-foot-8, 240-pounder from Oklahoma, committed to Clemson on Thursday.
The Tigers also announced on Thursday that they had verbally committed for five-star guard Isaiah Johnson.
Clemson currently has four five-stars on its roster.
Adams is the second five-time commitment for Clemson, joining guard Luke Del Rio, who committed to the Tigers on Wednesday.
Del Rio is the sixth player to commit to the Blue Devils since the start of the 2017-18 season, joining Deandre Burnett, Brandon Davis, De’Aaron Fox, Josh Allen, and Shaquille Thompson.
