Florida’s Steve Spurriers team is a national title contender, and his team is poised to contend for another title, as it takes on a team from the U-17 World Championships, which is expected to begin later this month.
The Gators, which defeated the Ute on Tuesday, will face the U17 champions in Orlando on Jan. 15, which will be its first game since the women’s national team won the gold medal in Tokyo last year.
The national team has been a strong recruiting force, having won eight national championships since 2000.
It’s a different kind of story when the Gators are on the field.
The team hasn’t won a championship since the 2002-03 season.
The Florida Gators are the only team to have won back-to-back national championships in consecutive years, the most recent occurring in 2003.
They won a pair of championships in 2010 and 2012.
The U.K. women, the defending champions, will compete in their first championship game in the U20 World Championships in the United States.
The women’s team is one of two underdogs in the women´s division.
The other is China, which beat the Utes, 20-12, at the Nike Diamond League tournament in Chicago.
China is scheduled to play in the Nike Indoor Championships in Houston, Texas, next month.
