Former Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is in the market for a new team and could land in the NFL in 2018.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Monday that the Colts are pursuing Manning, who played for the Broncos in the 2010 and 2014 seasons.
If the Colts were to land Manning, it would represent the biggest shakeup in the team’s coaching staff in years.
Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, who coached Manning in Denver, was fired after the Broncos went 8-8 in 2016.
The Colts’ coaching staff also includes a pair of former quarterbacks and their son, as well as former quarterback Ryan Lindley, who is in his third season with the Colts.
Lindley is a former first-round draft pick of the San Francisco 49ers.
