Georgia police recruit with no criminal record

The next logical step for Georgia football recruit Ryan Shumpert is to sign with the Atlanta Falcons, according to a report from ESPN.

Shumpert has been in high demand for the past few weeks after he committed to Georgia.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder was rated as the No. 4 quarterback by 247Sports and the No 9 player by Scout and Scout 300.

Shumerton was rated a top-five prospect by 247 Sports and a top 100 prospect by Scout.

He is the first quarterback recruit to commit to the Atlanta Braves since Josh Dobbs in January of 2017.

Shrumpert is the fifth-ranked quarterback in the nation according to 247Sports Composite, according and Scout.

The five-star recruit has been rated as a top 10 quarterback by Scout, Scout 300 and 247Sports 300.

He has been ranked as the fifth best quarterback prospect by Rivals and No. 10 by ESPN.ESPN also reports Shumert will be eligible to play immediately upon graduation.

Shamppert is scheduled to visit his new school in March.
